Surtreat is a construction management company that provides full service, innovative, technical solutions in steel reinforced concrete structures, metal buildings and roofing systems. Since 1989, Surtreat and its affiliates have designed an extensive suite of solutions to provide a cost-effective and safe response for all of our clients needs nationwide.
Surtreat has partnered with a group of privately held companies with common ownership that have over 500 associates with turnkey capabilities that allows us to provide the resources needed to complete complex projects of any size. Within this ‘Surtreat Family”, Surtreat Construction Services has partnered with Sims Construction located in London, Ohio to provide our clients with metal building and commercial roofing system solutions. Sims Construction was started in 1976 by Kennison Sims. For over 35 years Sims Construction has specialized in Sales, Service, and Construction of Metal Frame Buildings, Post Frame Buildings and Agricultural Products.

Surtreat has continued to grow organically through successful project execution for private industry throughout the country. Experience & Qualifications
Surtreat is pleased to present this select list of projects representing our experience and qualifications specifically related to industrial steel frame metal buildings.
FedEx Freight Project, Ohio
Surtreat affiliate provided sheeting and installation to FedEx main office building and break room of over 150,000 sq ft. We also installed the roofing material for the Terminal Building with 254 doors. We were further contracted to complete the exterior sheeting for the maintenance and guard buildings consisting of an additional 15,000+ sq.ft. As always, all the work was completed using OSHA 29 CFR 1926 safety and health regulations, along with state and local safety regulations.
Buckeye Ford, Ohio
Surtreat affiliate was contracted to build a WideBay trussed purlin service building 100ft x 66ft. The WideBay trussed purlin building was designed to accommodate roof snow loads up to 40lbs per sq. ft. at a 5'-0" on center spacing. The client also contracted with us to have the main sales area of approx. 15,000+ sq.ft. re-roofed using Standing Seam Roof (SSR) material made by Varco Building Products.
Royal Cabinets, Ohio
Surtreat affiliate was selected to install a Standing Seam Roof SSR over existing EPDM roofing material. The roof was 58’ W x 406’ L. The SSR roof system features interlocking panels with 3" high ribs with a UL90 wind uplift rating. The system included concealed clips and ridge system to meet the highest industry standards desired by the client.
